Attention National Board Certification hopefuls!!
The state of Iowa has appropriated money to help fund mentoring, FREE OF CHARGE for any teacher in the state of Iowa who wishes to seek National Board Certification. The AEA 9 has been training two teachers as mentors for the program. Chris Like and Greg Bouljon of Bettendorf are both Board Certified Teachers and have been asked to assist others through this process. Chris teaches science at Bettendorf High School, and Greg teaches language arts at Bettendorf Middle School. They have been trained to help candidates in all certification areas.
This process should not be undergone alone when help is available. Chris and Greg will be holding an informational meeting for candidates who are interested in starting the process, or who are just finishing up their entries and would like some last minute help.
If you are interested in being mentored through your National Board exhibits and submissions or would like some more information about the process, contact Chris at firstname.lastname@example.org or Greg at email@example.com
The state of Iowa awards Nationally Board Certified Teachers a stipend of $2500/year for 10 years. The state of Iowa also helps with the entry fee upon completion of the process. We can help you become a National Board Certified Teacher. Let’s get started.
