The essential functions of this job are:
- Assist the Agency and local school districts in identifying the information and communication needs of families of children with special needs.
- Assist in developing and implementing activities designed to enhance communication between parents and educators.
- Promote and provide information to parent and educator groups regarding the Parent-Educator Connection Program activities.
- Compile reports and general information as required by the state including the evaluation of the Parent-Educator Connection Program.
The requirements are:
A. Education: High school diploma
B. Other: Must be the parent of a child who is receiving special education or has received special education.
