Association for Retarded Citizens-Respite Center
Respite care for individuals with developmental disability for one hour, overnight, weeklong vacations or during emergencies at minimal cost. Rock Island/Mercer Counties in Illinois and Scott County in Iowa are eligible
Central Point of Coordination (CPC)

The CPC helps direct the managed care (and funding) aspect of independent living and other services for individuals with mental retardation, developmental disabilities and sometimes mental illness. This service is mandated by state law. You may get case management and other services to help you with independent living through the county CPC.

Handicapped Development Center
HDC operates a residential center, group homes and provides respite, supported community living and other services as a HCBS MR Waiver provider. Also offers Brain Injury Waiver services for adults and children. HDC is a provider of vocational assessments and services.
Genesis Continuing Care
Home Helpers provides services for persons eligible for the following Home & Community Based Services Waivers: MR, Brain Injury (BI) and Ill & Handicapped.Services offered include respite, supported community living, IMMT (Interim Medical Monitoring and Treatment), CDAC (Consumer Directed Attendant Care), Home & Vehicle Modification and nursing services.

Youth Transitional Housing Program

Affordable housing units, service coordination and around-the-clock staff for homeless teens, 16-18 years of age. Housing with on-site monitoring also available for homeless youth ages 18-21. Youth must maintain employment and/or school, job training efforts, depending on their age, interests, etc. Several locations throughout Davenport.
